Biztech Lawyers is pleased to announce we have joined the Technology Council of Australia, the peak body for Australia’s growing technology industry.
The Australian technology industry already contributes $167 billion annually to the economy and employs 861,000 people. The Tech Council wants to take that to one million jobs by 2025.
To do that, our industry needs a peak industry body that understands how to build up our domestic talent pool. Beyond that, we need a well resourced, trusted advisor to government on policy change, culture change and shaping the sector.
“The Australian technology industry has been crying out for a peak body that reflects its diversity and can help determine its future. The impact of the Technology Council of Australia in less than a year has been profound and we’re thrilled to join as a member,” said Anthony Bekker.
