Julie Collins is a Senior Lawyer at Biztech Lawyers. Well versed in corporate and transactional law, her experience spans from entity formation and corporate transactions to real estate, business, and banking.

She began her practice in litigation, and the negotiation and drafting skills from those years inform her present day corporate and transactional practice. 

She has spent the last four years as a corporate and transactional attorney specializing in contract review and negotiation, primarily with Non-Disclosure Agreements and other critical contracts for private equity firms.

She is a problem solver by nature and enjoys moving quickly from the realm of problem/issue to solution in order to help clients. Her initial plan before pursuing law was to become a doctor, and she has brought that same spirit of scientific examination to her practice: triage, make a plan, prevent, as applicable.

Julie is curious and inquisitive and enjoys learning and growing her skill set in order to help you do more, work smarter rather than harder and manifest your business vision. She has been a licensed Virginia attorney since 2011, beginning with a two-year clerkship for the Honorable Robert J. Smith of the Fairfax County Circuit Court.

Outside of her professional life, Julie loves exploring the outdoors with her husband Max and their rescue dog Buddha and son Whistler born in 2023, gardening, music, photography, cooking, active pursuits and traveling.
