Alison is a Partner and Head of our UK team. She is a senior technology lawyer with extensive experience in commercial law and data protection regulation, most of which was gained at a boutique London IT/IP law firm where she trained and worked for 17 years. Alison has supported and advised tech sector innovators, from individual developers to multinational corporations and everything in between.
Skilled at drafting and negotiating a very broad range of commercial contracts, clients value her pragmatic approach and willingness to help them make informed decisions, as much as her expertise.
Alison has been praised in legal directories for her deep knowledge of technology and the associated law and has been featured in numerous publications, including most recently in the European Financial Review talking about artificial intelligence and the future of technology and law.
Alison is also a UK and EU data protection law specialist, having helped many data heavy businesses navigate their way through the minefield of data protection and privacy regulation.
Alison lives in South London with her husband, 2 children and dog-of-no-specific-breed. She can often be found in co-working spaces where tech entrepreneurs tend to cluster.
I love helping founders negotiate their path to success. My advice isn’t restricted to pure legal knowledge - I’m always happy to share any insight gained from working in the start-up and SME space for so long.
